Properties: It is light yellow powder when newly precipitated. After drying, the color becomes darker under light. It decomposes into silver oxide and carbon dioxide at about 220℃ and into metallic silver at higher temperatures. Soluble in 2000 parts of boiling water, easily soluble in dilute nitric acid, acetic acid, ammonia and cyanide alkali solution, insoluble in cold water and ethanol. The relative density is 6.08. Melting point 210℃(decomposition). Stimulating.

Main applications: used for manufacturing film, color photographic emulsion, light film and other photosensitive materials, used for silver plating, manufacturing conductive adhesive, silver and zinc battery, other silver salts and catalysts, used for sterilization in medicine, used for ceramics, etc.
